Project Overview

CGE Africa, in partnership with Northern Patriots in Research and Advocacy (NORPRA) and Ziva Community Initiative, implemented this multi-country initiative to strengthen women’s economic participation in agriculture and mining by increasing investment in renewable energy. Through research, capacity building, media engagement, citizen consultations, and national budget dialogues, the project advanced advocacy for gender-responsive renewable-energy investment, amplified women’s voices in energy decision-making, and strengthened cross-country policy engagement on an inclusive and climate-resilient energy transition.
