Project Overview

CGE Africa is implementing a two-year initiative to strengthen the socioeconomic inclusion, dignity, and well-being of older women in Lagos State by improving access to gender-responsive social protection and integrated social services. The project combines evidence generation, multi-sector stakeholder engagement, policy advocacy, and community-level action to address interconnected barriers, including income insecurity, limited access to healthcare and social services, mobility constraints, and social exclusion. A baseline assessment is providing evidence to inform program implementation, policy engagement, and advocacy for more responsive and inclusive social protection systems.
